This project covers the end-to-end creation of a full-featured ride-sharing application for both Android and iOS. I need an experience similar to Uber, but wrapped in a clean, minimalist interface so riders and drivers can focus on what matters—getting from A to B quickly and safely. Core functionality that must ship in the first public build: • Real-time GPS tracking that constantly updates driver and rider locations on a single map view. • Secure in-app payments (credit/debit, wallet, and, if possible, Apple Pay / Google Pay). • Two-way driver and rider ratings pushed to the backend the moment a trip ends. Extra convenience features I want baked in from the start: • Ride scheduling so a user can book hours or days ahead. • In-app chat for time-sensitive coordination between rider and driver without revealing phone numbers. Look & feel: The UI should stay minimalist and simple—flat colors, clear typography, large CTA buttons, and no clutter. Think modern Material Design or clean Cupertino, but without flashy gradients or distractions. Technical expectations: You’re free to choose the stack—native Kotlin/Swift, Flutter, React Native, or another proven framework—as long as performance remains smooth on mid-range devices. Code must be modular, well-commented, and ready for future feature toggles such as car-pooling or promo coupons. Deliverables: 1. Fully functional Android (APK/AAB) and iOS (IPA/TestFlight) builds. 2. Source code in a private Git repository with clear commit history. 3. Short setup guide and API documentation for the server side you implement. 4. A hand-off session to walk through deployment and basic maintenance tasks. I’ll handle publishing accounts and any design assets; everything else, from backend endpoints to push-notification setup, lives in your scope.
