Scope of work • Site-fit floor plan showing overall footprint, posts, and clearances around the pool • Fully dimensioned roof and framing plan in wood construction • Front, side, and rear elevations that capture the traditional detailing I’m after—think pitched roof, exposed rafters, and trim accents rather than modern minimalism • One to two cross-sections highlighting beam sizing, post connections, and roofing layers • Brief materials legend (lumber sizes, roofing type, fasteners) to guide my contractor • PDF set for review plus source file in DWG, Revit, or SketchUp—whichever you’re most comfortable with I have rough sketches and photos of pavilions I like; once we start, I’ll share those along with site photos and pool dimensions. I’m aiming for a balanced amount of detail: enough for my builder to quote accurately and apply for local approvals, without a full structural engineering package.
