I’m ready to launch the first working version of Coupona, a swipe-based food-discount discovery app. Think Tinder, but instead of people you’re swiping through nearby restaurant offers. The MVP must run on both iOS and Android from a single code-base, use straightforward email-and-password authentication, and let users save a deal simply by swiping right. Core flow • Users sign up, log in, set location permissions, then land on a card-style feed of real-time discounts. • A right swipe saves the offer to a personal wallet; a left swipe dismisses it. • Tapping a saved deal produces a unique QR or barcode that restaurant staff can scan for redemption, automatically flagging it as used. Restaurant side Every participating venue needs its own account inside the same app (no separate web dashboard at this stage). Owners can create, edit, pause or delete deals, set validity windows, and view basic redemption stats. Deliverables 1. Universal iOS & Android build (React Native, Flutter or similar—open to your recommendation). 2. Secure email/password auth, password reset, and profile edit. 3. Swipe feed with right-swipe save logic; fast, smooth animations. 4. Saved-deals wallet with single-use QR/barcode generation and status tracking. 5. Restaurant admin screens for deal management and analytics snapshot. 6. Lightweight back-end (Firebase, Supabase, or Node/Express + Postgres—again, I’m flexible) with clear API documentation. 7. Clean, commented code and a short hand-off guide so I can demo to investors on day one. Acceptance criteria • App installs and runs on current iOS & Android versions. • Swiping, saving, and redemption flow tested end-to-end with two dummy restaurants. • QR/barcode cannot be reused once marked as redeemed. If you’ve shipped a similar marketplace or swipe-driven product, show me a link or build. Let’s get Coupona into diners’ hands.
