Project Title Architect Required – Concept Drawings for Outline Planning (6 Supported-Living Apartments, Northern Ireland) Project Description I am seeking an experienced Architect (or architectural designer) to prepare concept-level drawings to support an Outline Planning Application in Northern Ireland. The proposal is for a block of 6 apartments intended for supported living accommodation for adults, on a site in County Fermanagh. The appointment is for concept / outline planning drawings only at this stage (not detailed design or Building Control). Scope of Work / Drawings Required The successful freelancer will be required to produce the following drawings, suitable for submission with an Outline Planning Application in Northern Ireland: A. Site Location / Site Layout Plan Plan view to show: Position and footprint of the proposed block of 6 apartments Position of 6 small individual storage units to the rear of the site 2 vehicle access points 9 vehicle parking spaces (if space permits) 12 refuse / waste bin storage spaces located to the rear General site boundaries and access arrangements (Exact dimensions and final layout to be agreed, but this is an outline planning submission.) B. Front Elevation Front elevation to be based on a reference photograph that will be supplied External appearance to reflect contrasting timber and brick cladding (as per supplied image) Minimum internal ceiling height of 2.5 metres Overall massing and proportions appropriate for a small apartment block in a rural / village context C. Ground Floor Plan Ground floor layout to show: 3 no. 2-bedroom apartments, each approximately 75 m² Front entrance and porch Rear entrance Internal stairwell providing access to first floor Lift provision General circulation, entrances, and apartment layouts The internal layout is at the discretion of the architect, subject to good design practice for supported living accommodation. Design Notes The development is intended for supported-living adults, so the design should be sensible, practical, and adaptable. Full compliance with Building Regulations is not required at this stage, but the design should be planning-realistic and capable of being developed further. The drawings must be clear, legible, and appropriate for an Outline Planning submission in Northern Ireland.
