I already have a WHMCS-based site running and I need a Stripe cloaking solution added to it. The primary goal is to minimise the risk of chargebacks, so whatever you build must actively monitor, flag and help me dispute or pre-empt fraudulent refund attempts. Both subscription and one-time payments run through this install, so the cloak has to handle mixed billing without breaking recurring invoices or manual payments. Because some of the products fall into the high-risk category, I need the highest level of masking, tokenisation and server-to-server communication you can reasonably deliver within Stripe’s API limits. If you have a proven method for cloaking that keeps Stripe’s front-end and risk systems satisfied while still letting me see clear customer data in WHMCS, I’d like you to: • Configure and test the cloaking layer directly on my WHMCS instance. • Implement logging and alerting focused on early chargeback signals. • Document the setup steps so I can replicate or update it later. Please outline any libraries, hooks or custom gateway modules you intend to use and a realistic timeline for end-to-end deployment and testing.
