I have a finished STL or STEP model that prints well, and now I need it brought into SolidWorks so I can keep everything inside my existing 2022-plus workflow(2025 version specifically). The goal is a one-to-one conversion—no redesign, no feature edits—just the same geometry rebuilt as a SolidWorks part that I can open, inspect, and do some mods myself. You may use any of the usual approaches—surface knit, feature recognition, or direct mesh conversion—as long as the end result: • Opens natively in SolidWorks 2022 or any later release without errors • Maintains the exact dimensions and topology found in the source STL • Saves out as a single .SLDPRT (assembly not required) Once delivered, I’ll verify the part by overlaying it against the original mesh and running a quick test slice. If everything lines up, the job is done. Sharing both STL AND STEP files incase it helps.
