I need my existing WordPress site recreated from the ground up in clean, hand-coded HTML, CSS and, where needed, vanilla JavaScript. Please do not rely on automatic “WP-to-static” converters—I want a fresh codebase that matches the current design as closely as practical; a pixel here or there is fine as long as the overall look and user flow stay familiar. While the main site will be fully static, I still want an easy way to publish articles. Pico CMS is my first choice because of its flat-file simplicity, but I’m open to your advice if you can show that another lightweight option (Bludit, Hugo, etc.) integrates better without bloating the build. Whatever we choose must blend seamlessly with the static pages so visitors never notice a difference. SEO is critical. The current WordPress install is cluttered, so I’m expecting a spotless result that addresses: • Logical, human-readable filenames for every page • Descriptive alt text on every image • Well-written page titles, meta descriptions and heading structure Deliverables I’m looking for: • Replicated layout in responsive HTML/CSS/JS, matching the live site’s design • Pico (or agreed alternative) set up in a /blog/ directory, styled to match the main theme • All content migrated with correct URLs, internal links and media paths • On-page SEO baked in: clean URLs, alt text, meta tags, Open Graph where relevant • A brief README explaining folder structure and how to add future blog posts
