My Shopify store’s home page needs to snap into view; right now it hesitates while the product showcases populate. Those sections rely almost entirely on images, so every kilobyte we shave off counts. I need the theme, Liquid snippets, and any supporting JavaScript or CSS tightened for fast first-paint and scroll performance. The job calls for: • Auditing current theme assets and network waterfall (Lighthouse, Shopify Analyzer, or similar). • Compressing and properly sizing hero and collection images, implementing responsive image tags, and enabling lazy-loading where appropriate. • Removing or deferring non-critical scripts that delay render, without disrupting existing functionality. • Delivering a short before-and-after metrics sheet (load time, CLS, LCP) so I can see the improvement. Keep the focus solely on the home page; product and checkout areas will be handled later. Access to the theme and CDN settings is ready as soon as we agree on an approach.
