I have designed a new automotive mechanical key similar to flip key and now need it turned into a professional SolidWorks file. You will receive my hand sketches, rough dimensions, and functional notes; from these I need a complete 3-D model that is ready for prototyping and, eventually, production. Scope • Build the full parametric model in SolidWorks, including all internal features, clearances, and fastening points. • Apply accurate materials where relevant so weight and strength can be verified later. • Supply the native .SLDPRT / .SLDASM files plus neutral formats (STEP, IGES) so I can share them with manufacturers. • Include a drawing sheet with exploded and section views showing key dimensions and tolerances that are critical for machining. Acceptance criteria The model must match the supplied dimensions within ±0.1 mm, assemble without interference, and open error-free in SolidWorks 2022 or later. If you have experience preparing automotive parts for CNC or additive manufacturing, please mention it—I will likely have follow-on work for stress analysis and design tweaks.
