Project Proposal – Social Media App UI Redesign Project Title: Redesigning the User Interface of Social media appls like Instagram, Snapchat, Tiktok etc. Software: Adobe XD Objective: The goal of this project is to analyze the apps' current user interface, identify design issues, and create improved layouts for a better user experience. Problem Identified: While the apps are widely used, the interface can feel cluttered with too many icons and overlapping features (e.g., Reels, Shop, and Stories all crowding the main navigation). This sometimes makes it confusing for users to focus on the content. Solution: To solve this, I will redesign a cleaner and more intuitive UI by reorganizing navigation tabs, simplifying icons, and improving font hierarchy. The redesign will focus on reducing clutter while keeping the app engaging and easy to use. Deliverables: UI redesign and sketches of at least 5 pages (Home, Explore, Profile, Reels, Notifications). Prototype in Adobe XD showing improved layout and navigation flow. Short explanation of problems identified and how the redesign solves them.
