I need two compact, cylindrical housings designed for small electronic boards that will be 3-D printed. Both units share a clean, modern aesthetic, yet each has a slightly different functional layout: • Unit A includes a small display, an SD-card slot and several push-buttons. • Unit B keeps things simpler with only a few LED indicators and buttons. Across both versions I want sound exit openings worked into the geometry, internal clips that lock the PCB securely in place, and a clever way to pop the shell open for quick access whenever firmware or hardware needs tweaking. Threaded fittings are fine if they help, but visible screws should be kept to a minimum so the final look stays sleek. Potentially, two pieces screwing into each other like a small cream box, or clicking together in some way, may prove the ideal solution without extra mounting components. I can provide STEP files of the PCBs as well as assembled physical samples for preliminary internal testing of the designs. Key goals — Exterior geometry that feels robust in the hand while remaining visually light and smooth. — Wall thicknesses, tolerances and part splits optimised for standard FDM printers; no overhangs that require heavy support. — Button, display and card-slot cut-outs aligned to a board that sits parallel to the cylinder wall (I will share board step files after kickoff). — Design files delivered in STEP (master), plus STL ready for slicing.
