I have a hand-drawn 2D plan of our new home in Chennai and the layout is already final. I now need that sketch converted into a clean, editable CAD model in SketchUp. The drawing must be fully detailed: accurate walls, windows, doors and any built-in fixtures, all to scale and properly dimensioned so my local contractor can build directly from the file. Follow standard Indian residential conventions for dimensions; if you notice any alignment issues while tracing, please flag them so we can correct early. Deliverables • Native SketchUp (.skp) file, organised with sensible layers/tags for walls, openings, fixtures and dimensions • PDF export of the floor plan for quick sharing Any recent version of SketchUp Pro is fine as long as it remains compatible with 2023. Keep the geometry tidy—no stray lines or hidden faces—so the model is ready for later detailing or rendering. I’ll supply the scanned plan and extra measurements once we start and can answer questions most evenings (IST). Looking forward to seeing the plan come to life digitally.
