DO NOT BID ON THE PROJECT IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS. I’m ready to leave Shopify, without losing the exact look-and-feel or any working data. I need an expert to migrate my entire site to OpenCart and replicate the storefront precisely. The new OpenCart site must look identical to the current Shopify site in layout, spacing, typography, colors, and overall design. Theme tweaks and custom CSS are expected. Every product, category, image, variant, SKU, pricing, inventory, metadata, and all associated PDFs for each product must be transferred completely. All existing PDF placements and links must be preserved, and the new OpenCart website must include the ability to upload and attach PDFs to specific sections exactly like the Shopify website. Data integrity is extremely important, and all URLs, SEO tags, structured data, reviews, and ratings must remain intact. The process should begin with a full audit of the current Shopify theme, structure, and data, including how and where PDFs appear. Once reviewed, the new OpenCart environment should be installed cleanly on my hosting using the latest stable version. The theme should then be recreated and customized to perfectly match the Shopify design across desktop, tablet, and mobile, using custom CSS and JavaScript where needed to duplicate functionality and appearance. All catalog data including products, categories, images, reviews, and PDFs must be imported correctly, with proper URLs and SEO tags. The workflow for uploading and displaying PDFs needs to be user-friendly and work the same way as it does now. Store settings such as taxes, shipping, and email templates should also be configured to match the current setup. Payment gateways can be configured once the storefront is validated, we use authorize.net to collect payments. After the migration, the entire site must be tested thoroughly to ensure all features work as expected, including product pages, search, checkout, and customer accounts. Once verified, the site should go live with minimal downtime and proper redirects. A final migration report should be provided, including what was transferred, any extensions used, and any custom code implemented. The report should also include a brief walkthrough on how to manage the new OpenCart site, including how to upload and maintain PDFs. This is not a quick job. It requires time, patience, and attention to detail to ensure a true one-to-one match in design and data accuracy between Shopify and OpenCart. The ideal person for this project will have proven experience with Shopify exports, OpenCart migrations, custom theming, and handling large catalogs with multiple product PDFs.
