The Canadian Association of International Development Professionals (CAIDP) is a small dedicated Canadian not-for-profit professional association that is committed to advocating for and promoting the collective interests of Canadian professionals engaged in international development projects/activities. Our current web presence no longer effectively supports our core mission: to serve as a vital platform where members can network, exchange career- related information, engage in professional development, and interact with key international development programs and organizations. To maximize our impact and better facilitate these crucial activities, CAIDP requires a modern, robust, and user-friendly digital home. As part of our ongoing commitment to increasing our visibility, improving member services, and enhancing digital communications, we are seeking a qualified contractor to design and develop a modern, user-friendly website that reflects our values and objectives. From CAIDP’s perspective, the objectives of this website renewal is to: • Significantly boost the association's visibility, interactive communications, membership numbers, and influence within Canada's international development community, ensuring we remain a central and effective voice for our profession. • CAIDP’s current primary source of revenue is through the collection membership fees. As such, it is of interest to CAIDP to maintain and grow its membership of professionals involved in implementing international development activities overseas. • Provide services and effective networking for our members considered ‘valuable’ to our members (valuable services would include networking, market intelligence, advocacy for Canadian professionals engaged in international development, professional development, access to opportunities e.g. jobs, contracts, and perks for our members).
