I manage nationwide field-service projects for IT hardware across every Australian state and I’m looking for someone who can slot in for roughly four hours each weekday to keep everything moving smoothly. Here’s what the day typically looks like for me and where I’ll rely on you: • Respond to incoming work orders, produce a quick quote, and confirm with the client. • Pinpoint the closest available technician, share the delivery location, and arrange courier pickup. • Track each piece of equipment in Excel from dispatch to arrival, flagging delays early. • Once gear lands on-site, lock in a date and time with the technician and the client, then email the pre-written SOP, SWMS and any other safety packs. • After the job, organise the return shipment and close the loop in our tracking sheet. All documentation, SOPs and checklists are already written; you just need to follow them. We work primarily inside Slack for messaging, Microsoft Teams for calls, and simple Excel sheets for scheduling and asset tracking. If you’re comfortable adding Trello or Asana down the line, great, but for now those three tools keep us fast. Familiarity with Australia’s geography, time zones, and freight cut-off times is essential so equipment and technicians arrive where they should, when they should. Solid project-coordination instincts—thinking two steps ahead, flagging risks, and keeping meticulous notes—will set you up for success. This is ongoing casual work at AUS $5.5 per hour, paid directly by our company, with a regular commitment of about four hours per day and flexibility to scale up during peak periods. If that cadence fits your schedule and the tasks above sound like second nature, let’s talk.
