I need help retrieving a set of deleted digital photos from my Android-based smartphone. I have 6,100 photos/videos in my trash folder in Google Photos. These items were thought to have been backed up in the cloud but are no longer there. There is an option for me to restore the photos however it is not working. I've been in contact with Google support and they are unable to help me.
