My goal is to learn Python from scratch and grow all the way to building, back-testing, and deploying algorithmic trading strategies. I’m a complete beginner, so the journey has to start with fundamentals—clear explanations of syntax, data types, control flow, functions, and basic debugging—delivered through live one-on-one sessions. After the essentials are solid, we’ll move into financial data handling with pandas and NumPy, explore broker/exchange APIs, and gradually code a simple trading bot that can be back-tested and run in a paper-trading environment. Screen-sharing, pair-programming, and real-time Q&A keep me engaged; quick recap recordings or notes for later review are welcome. Deliverables • Structured learning roadmap with weekly milestones (core Python → data analysis → trading libraries → live deployment). • 2–3 interactive video sessions each week plus concise assignments and code reviews. • Capstone project: a fully working strategy, back-tested and running in paper trading, with me able to explain every line. Acceptance Criteria • By week four I can write, test, and debug small scripts independently. • By course end I can launch at least one automated strategy and understand the risk controls behind it. Mention your preferred teaching tools (e.g., Zoom, VS Code Live Share, Jupyter) and any past success guiding absolute beginners into algorithmic trading so I can see how well our approaches align.
