I run a small mum-and-dad e-commerce shop in Australia, and I need a dependable script that can pull fresh product data from one specific supplier’s site. Each run has to capture pricing information, product descriptions, SKU codes and the associated images, then hand me a clean csv data file I can drop straight into our store catalogue. Right now I’m not 100 % sure whether the data lives on one page or is spread across several, so the solution should be flexible enough to handle either layout (pagination, category lists, or a single long page). Once the script is set up, I may schedule it for a weekly update so our store always reflects the latest stock and price changes. Python is an option, but if you know another language application or library that will get the job done efficiently, I’m open to it. The script doesn't have to run unattended but does need to run on a normal desktop, log any errors, and save the results to CSV, with the columns clearly labelled.
