I’m launching a brand-new pharmacy and need a secure, fully functional e-commerce website that lets customers buy prescription medications, over-the-counter remedies, and broader health & wellness items directly online. Scope • Design and build a clean, responsive storefront that fits pharmacy best-practice UX on desktop and mobile. • Set up a searchable product catalogue with clear category filters for prescription, OTC, and wellness lines. • Integrate a checkout flow that supports card payments and, if possible, wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. • Add a prescription-upload module so customers can securely submit scripts for verification before purchase. • Configure stock, tax, and shipping rules inside a user-friendly CMS (I’m open to Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or a custom React/Laravel stack—advise on the best fit). • Ensure data handling meets GDPR and UK pharmacy compliance expectations, including SSL and secure customer accounts. • Provide a functional prototype I can test, plus clear hand-over documentation so my team can manage day-to-day updates. Nice-to-haves (if time allows) – Basic email marketing integration for order updates and promotions. – Blog section for health articles and FAQs. – Simple analytics dashboard (Google Analytics or similar) wired in. I will supply branding assets and an initial product list. I’m looking for someone who can move quickly from wireframes to launch-ready build while advising on pharmacy-specific regulatory considerations.
