I’m creating a short 360° clip that will play on an Oculus headset and place the viewer inside a submarine’s periscope. The mood should feel overcast and brooding—low, grey clouds and muted light—yet still bright enough that the ocean horizon and several vessels remain clearly visible. Core scene requirements • Point-of-view: inside the periscope, full 360° equirectangular video. Its impotant for realism that view not move with the waves. but a still view. • Realism: moderate—clean texturing and believable water, but not ultra-photoreal. • Ships: 3–4 distinct classes (for example, a destroyer, cargo freighter, patrol boat, and small ferry). • Placement: a mix of distant silhouettes and nearer ships slowly circling the viewer at varied bearings. • Identification: every close-range vessel carries a crisp, fictional name painted on the hull that can be read when the ship passes. one name should be "HYDRO" • Atmosphere: light fog, gentle whitecaps, subtle periscope glass vignette to enhance immersion. Deliverables 1. Storyboard or annotated stills so I can sign off on layout and ship mix. 2. A draft 360 video (minimum 4K equirectangular, 30 fps) for review inside the headset. 3. Final mastered clip, optimized for Oculus video playback (.mp4/H.264 or H.265) plus any project files or scene assets I might need for future tweaks. I can supply reference photos of periscope UI overlays if you’d like to blend a light HUD into the view; otherwise focus on the raw optics. Please outline your proposed software pipeline (Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.), expected turnaround, and any questions about scale or duration. I’m aiming for a short loop roughly 30–45 seconds long.
