I have a set of clear reference photos of the red Michelin-recommended plate that hangs outside restaurants and I need it recreated as a watertight STL so I can print it for outdoor display. I’m after a faithful copy in terms of proportions, lettering, stars and overall shape, but I don’t need every microscopic scratch or texture—moderate detail that captures all of the key features is perfect. I’ll share the images as soon as we start so you can match dimensions and typography accurately. Please build the model with 3D-printing practicality in mind: clean topology, no non-manifold edges, a sensible wall thickness, and oriented so it slices correctly in Cura or PrusaSlicer without supports everywhere. Deliverables • One print-ready, error-free STL of the Michelin plate • A brief note on overall dimensions and any scale you applied • Screenshot of the mesh in your CAD or sculpting software showing clean geometry Acceptance criteria The STL must open in Netfabb/Meshmixer with no repair flags and slice in Cura at 0.2 mm layer height without red error lines. Lettering and star details should match the reference images at 1:1 scale. If you use Fusion 360, Blender, SolidWorks, or ZBrush, that’s fine—as long as the final STL meets the above checks.
