I need an experienced Laravel developer who can jump straight into our existing e-commerce code-base and deliver three things in parallel: noticeable design refinements, a handful of new front-end features, and adding/amending products. Design updates • Re-work several layout sections so the flow of the catalogue and checkout pages feels cleaner and on-brand. • Align colours, typography and spacing with our updated branding guidelines (assets provided). New features • Turn static banners, icons and promo blocks into fully clickable elements that route to the right product or category. • Build an easy workflow for bulk product uploads so our team can add items without touching the database. • Any PHP / Blade components you create should be reusable and clearly documented. Performance improvements The shop must load fast. I’m looking for query optimisation, smarter caching, and any front-end tweaks (minification, lazy loading) that push us closer to sub-2-second page loads on desktop and mobile. Deliverables 1. Updated Blade templates and SCSS/CSS reflecting the new layouts and branding. 2. Feature modules (with routes, controllers and views) enabling clickable elements and bulk product upload. 3. Performance report listing baseline metrics and post-optimisation results, plus a pull request with all code changes. Code lives in a private GitHub repo; we work through feature branches and pull requests. Please be comfortable with Laravel 10, PHP 8, MySQL, Eloquent, and typical tooling such as Composer, NPM, and Vite. Show me past Laravel stores you’ve upgraded, outline how you’d tackle the three workstreams, and let’s get started.
