I have a custom-built ERP that already runs in production but still needs polishing and new features. The stack is Laravel with a MySQL back-end, so strong knowledge of Laravel’s latest features, eloquent ORM, migrations, queues and raw SQL optimisation is essential. Here is what I need right now: • Extend and fine-tune several existing modules (sales orders, purchasing and basic inventory) without breaking current workflows. • Refactor areas of legacy PHP code into clean Laravel controllers and models. • Optimise slow SQL queries and add missing indexes so large reports load in seconds, not minutes. • Push all work through our private Git repository, supply clear comments and a brief change log for each commit. • Provide a short test plan and demonstrate the fixes/updates on our staging server before we sign off. Because this is an enhancement of an existing system, you’ll be working closely with me; I can walk you through the current codebase and priorities on a video call, then leave you to build autonomously. If this first round goes smoothly I have a roadmap of additional modules ready to follow.
