Laravel Developer Needed to Review and Finalize Existing POS / Inventory System We have a custom-built POS and Inventory Management System already developed and running. We are looking for an experienced Laravel developer to review the system, correct issues, and finalize it for real-world daily use in our store. The system is already functional and deployed, but requires refinement and testing to ensure everything works correctly and links together as a proper POS system should. This project mainly involves reviewing existing code, correcting issues, and improving usability where needed. About the Business We operate an automotive parts business specializing in Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, VW and Toyota parts. The system manages: Inventory Sales Quotations Barcode labels Customers Suppliers The system will be used daily by staff in a retail environment, so it needs to function smoothly and reliably. Technical Stack Framework: Laravel Hosting: Hostinger Database: MySQL Frontend: Laravel Blade / Web UI The system is already built and hosted, and you will be working on the existing codebase. Scope of Work The developer will need to review the system thoroughly and ensure everything is functioning correctly. 1. System Review and Corrections Review the system structure and functionality Correct glitches or bugs Ensure modules link and sync correctly 2. Work With Me to Identify Improvements You will work with me directly to review areas of the system that are not functioning correctly or need improvement. Examples include: The barcode labels generated by the system are currently too small and difficult to read when printed, so the sizing and layout must be corrected. Some features are not linking or syncing correctly between modules. Certain workflows do not behave as a typical POS system should. These areas need to be identified and corrected. 3. POS Workflow Validation Ensure inventory, sales, and quotations sync correctly Confirm the system behaves like a proper point-of-sale system Improve workflow where necessary 4.
