Project Brief — Residential Design: Home Gym, Outdoor Entertainment & Bar Redesign Overview Seeking an experienced residential designer (architectural draftsperson, interior designer with outdoor capability, or landscape architect) to deliver full design documentation for three connected scopes at a private residence . Output must be construction-ready sufficient for contractors to price and build without interpretation gaps. Scope of Work 1. Home Gym Conversion/fit-out of existing space Requirements: rubber flooring, mirror walls, equipment layout, ventilation/AC, lighting, power outlet placement Ceiling height considerations for rig/pull-up bar 2. Outdoor Entertainment Area Full redesign of existing outdoor area Include: deck (materials, levels, drainage), lighting, shade/roofing structure, integration with indoor flow Consideration of weather exposure, privacy screening, and furniture zones 3. Bar Integrated outdoor bar Requirements: benchtop, sink, underbench fridge provision, power, storage, bar seating layout Finish and materials to suit overall aesthetic Deliverables Required Concept design with 2–3 options per scope (mood board / renders acceptable at concept stage) Developed design drawings — floor plans, elevations, sections Materials and finishes schedule Construction documentation package suitable for contractor tender/pricing Candidate Requirements Demonstrated residential design experience — outdoor/entertainment spaces essential Portfolio showing comparable projects (deck, gym, or bar fit-out) Proficiency in CAD or equivalent (AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, or similar)
