I’m expanding our in-house engineering team and need up to ten reliable CodeIgniter developers who can jump straight into an existing codebase. Your day-to-day work will revolve around three core activities: • Building new features that we have sketched out but not yet implemented • Keeping current modules healthy by refactoring and cleaning up code where needed • Squashing bugs as they appear in production The application already includes user authentication, e-commerce flows, and a lightweight CMS, so experience in these three areas is essential. You’ll also wire our social-media integrations (mainly login and sharing hooks) into the updated code. Because this is a low-budget onboarding phase, I’m looking for concise pull requests: clearly commented, PSR-compliant PHP, with commits that show incremental progress. If you can demonstrate familiarity with Git, Composer, and CodeIgniter’s HMVC pattern, you’ll fit right in. Deliverables for each developer: 1. A small, self-contained feature or bug fix merged within the first week 2. Brief documentation of any changes to routes, controllers, or models 3. A short hand-off note explaining new logic or refactoring decisions Show me one or two previous CodeIgniter repositories (GitHub or Bitbucket links preferred) and your typical weekly availability. Once vetted, you’ll receive access to our repo and kanban board so we can start assigning tickets immediately.
