The flow should be effortless: whenever I choose a status option (for example, “Contacted”, “Quote Sent”, “Won”, etc.) the sheet must automatically stamp the current date in a dedicated column so I can see exactly when each deal moved forward. Core needs • A clean, well-structured sheet (or set of sheets) to record deals, values, and stages. • An Apps Script or similar no-code solution that listens for my dropdown selection and inserts today’s date in the correct cell without asking for additional input. • Basic dashboards or formulas that total and filter sales figures so I can quickly review performance. Nice-to-have (but not required right now) features such as lead tracking or full pipeline visualisation can wait; for this engagement I’m focused on nailing the sales-tracking workflow and automated date stamping.
