I’m setting up the Forkers Dining Club’s annual nominations and voting and I want the entire workflow built and automated inside Google Workspace. Only our internal team members will access the forms, yet the experience should feel polished and secure. What has to happen • Phase 1 – Nominations: a Google Form captures the Restaurant/Bar name, member name, phone number, email, and lets the nominator pick among multiple award categories (Budget-esque Dining, Favourite Dining, Drinking Holes, Desserts). • Phase 2 – Voting: a second Form shows the shortlisted venues you generate automatically from Phase 1. Team members can vote once per category. Key build requirements • One-response-per-member validation tied to email. • Apps Script jobs for automated reminders, nomination cut-off, shortlist generation and final tally. • Structured Google Sheets back-end with clean ranges so pivot tables and Data Studio/Looker Studio dashboards update in real time. • Lightweight dashboards for live counts and a final winners report that can be exported to PDF/CSV without further cleanup. • Timeline management so both phases run smoothly over the next 2–3 weeks, with communication during IST hours. Acceptance criteria 1. Forms, Sheets and scripts are delivered in our shared Google Workspace. 2. Validation, reminder triggers and shortlist logic are fully tested with sample data. 3. Dashboards display category-wise nominees, current vote counts and final winners. 4. Final report exports correctly and matches the live data.
