I’m looking to launch a simple MVP built with Flutter plus a lightweight backend for an AI-powered homework helper. The core goal is straightforward: a student types (or pastes) a single homework question, and the app returns a concise answer. For the first release I only need coverage for Mathematics, Science and Literature, so please wire the subject selection into the logic but keep the interface minimal. Key workflow 1. Flutter front-end (Android & iOS) with three screens: • Home: text box to enter one question and a button to submit. • Result: shows the AI answer and a “Why?” tab with a short explanation. • Profile: basic progress tracking—store a running count of questions asked per subject and display it as a simple bar chart or list. 2. Backend/API: • Any stack you’re comfortable with (Firebase Functions, Node, Python Flask—your choice) as long as it exposes one secure endpoint that accepts {question, subject}. • Call an LLM (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) to generate the answer and short explanation. • Save question/subject/time-stamp to a tiny database so the app can fetch stats for progress tracking. 3. Deliverables • Clean Flutter code (Dart 3 preferred) ready to run in Android Studio or VS Code. • Backend source with clear README and environment variables separated from code. • Brief deployment notes so I can spin this up on Firebase, Heroku or Railway. Keep the UX clean; mockups are welcome but not required. I’m aiming for a fast, functional prototype rather than a polished final product, so reuse packages like provider, riverpod or bloc as you see fit.
