Port 2096 keeps closing on my shared-license cPanel server, so webmail will not open in Chrome or any other browser. I have not altered any cPanel settings, yet every attempt to reach https://mydomain.com:2096 results in a “Refused to Connect” message. The rest of the server works perfectly; only webmail is affected. I need a permanent solution that restores reliable access to port 2096 and survives future service or kernel updates. Deliverable • Webmail reachable over HTTPS on port 2096 without errors and verified in multiple browsers. Acceptance will be based on a successful live test from my end after you complete the work.
