Job Opening: WordPress + PHP Developer to Finalize Custom Transfers Plugin (ST Transfers) Type: Freelance Project: Completion of custom transfer booking plugin Availability: Immediate Project Overview We are looking for an experienced WordPress and PHP developer to finalize the development of our custom plugin ST Transfers. The plugin is already functional in its basic structure—it allows creating transfers, assigning prices, performing searches, and displaying results with the required layout. However, several essential features are still pending and must be completed to move the plugin into full production. Pending Tasks 1. Advanced Transfer Search (Frontend + Backend) Implement an intelligent search/autocomplete field. Users must be able to type the name of a hotel and see dynamic filtering based on the uploaded database. This same functionality must be implemented in the WordPress backend for creating transfers. 2. Roundtrip Configuration (One-Way + Return) When a transfer is selected, the system must display the return option with the corresponding price. The system must show two transfers (outbound + return) when applicable, similar to the behavior already implemented in the Tours module. 3. Hotel → Province Auto-Mapping (as in the Tours module) The system must automatically associate each hotel with its province. Example: If the selected hotel belongs to Santo Domingo, the system must automatically understand the route Santo Domingo → Boca Chica. The user should not manually choose a province. This functionality already exists in the Tours module and must be replicated for Transfers. 4. Plugin Checkout Page Build a dedicated checkout page for the ST Transfers plugin. After viewing the price, the user must be redirected to this checkout page. The checkout must integrate with WooCommerce. Implement full compatibility with Azul, the local payment gateway in the Dominican Republic. Ensure accurate price calculations (adults, children, roundtrip, etc.). Requirements Proven experience developing custom WordPress plugins. Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX. Proficiency with WordPress hooks, CPTs, WP_Query, shortcodes, Settings API, and custom admin interfaces. Experience with WooCommerce and payment gateway integration. Understanding of JSON, WordPress REST API, and custom endpoints. Plus: Experience in booking systems or transportation modules. Plus: Previous integration with Azul payment gateway. Deliverables Fully functional plugin with all pending features completed. Clean, documented code following WordPress best practices. Implementation that does not affect existing site performance. Short handover explaining the new functionalities. Brief post-delivery support to fix bugs related to the developed features.
