My new WordPress site is nearly ready, but a handful of small yet critical tasks remain before launch. The first and most urgent item is the checkout flow: customers are warned they must be over 18, yet no checkbox exists. I need a lightweight, secure solution that adds a single “I confirm I’m over 18” checkbox, makes it mandatory, and prevents the order from completing unless it is checked. Once that is in place, I’d like you to handle several other quick wins that will improve compliance and conversions without slowing the site down: • Make the phone number field mandatory whenever a shopper creates an account. • Add an opt-in to marketing at checkout / registration that cleanly writes to my email platform. • Implement a GDPR-friendly cookie consent banner. • Create an unobtrusive pop-up for visitors to sign up to our emails (Mailchimp or native WordPress form is fine as long as it’s fast). Clean code, minimal-load plugins, and best-practice security are essential; performance scores can’t dip. If we work well together, there will be plenty more site enhancements in the pipeline, so think of this as the first step in a longer partnership.
