I need a single-file Excel solution that lets me record daily attendance by Employee ID and instantly turns that raw data into useful insights. The workbook should open on a clean input sheet where I can add or paste each day’s records, and behind the scenes the formulas or Power Query that you set up should feed three views on a dashboard tab: • Attendance Summary – head-count present vs. absent by day, week, and month. • Individual Reports – a slicer-driven panel where I can pick an Employee ID and see that person’s attendance history in seconds. • Trend Analysis – line or column charts that highlight patterns over time, such as late-arrivals spikes or improving attendance rates. I’d like the layout to be clear, colour-coded, and protected so accidental edits don’t break anything, yet easy for me to maintain if I later decide to track extra fields. Include brief inline instructions and keep the file compatible with the current Microsoft 365 desktop version.
