I’m expanding an existing WordPress build into a genuinely enterprise-ready WooCommerce solution and need a senior developer to finish the heavy-lifting. The goal is to keep the familiar WordPress admin while injecting the power and flexibility large-scale eCommerce demands. What’s already clear • Dynamic product catalog – we have to support subscription-based items, fully customizable products, and pure digital downloads. These should live in lean custom plugins rather than a tangle of third-party add-ons. • Tailored workflows – orders must process automatically, new customers pass through a bespoke registration/onboarding flow, and complex shipping rules kick in based on product mix, destination, and membership tier. • Advanced role control – I need the freedom to define new roles, fine-tune their capabilities, gate content per role, and surface role-specific pricing right through to checkout. Beyond functionality, code quality matters: WordPress coding standards, namespaced PHP, properly enqueued assets, Git-based version control, and performance tuning (object caching, query optimisation, CDN-friendly file handling). Deliverables 1. Custom plugin(s) implementing the three product types with clean admin UX and unit-tested PHP classes. 2. Workflow automation hooked into WooCommerce actions/filters, fully documented. 3. Role-management extension that adds UI to wp-admin and integrates pricing rules. 4. Deployment-ready code in our Git repo, plus a concise hand-over session. We collaborate through GitHub, Slack, and a Kinsta staging environment.
