I have a complete eAxle assembly saved as a single *.stp file and a set of dimension-driven requirements that must be preserved. I now need the entire model recreated natively in SolidWorks so every part shows a clean, editable feature tree rather than imported surfaces. The brief in a nutshell • The original STEP model represents the final geometry; my specification documents flag the critical tolerances, materials and naming conventions that must carry over. • I need every component rebuilt with full parametric features—no dumb bodies—so I can tweak dimensions later. Thread details, keyways, bearing seats, gear profiles and all other functional features have to be captured. • Deliver a properly structured assembly with mates that reflect the real mechanical relationships of the axle. Deliverables - Native SolidWorks files: *.SLDASM for the top-level assembly and *.SLDPRT for each part. - A brief change log noting any feature you could not reconstruct exactly and why. Acceptance When I open the assembly in SolidWorks 2023, the mass properties, overall envelope and critical interfaces must match the original STEP file and my specification sheets within the stated tolerances. If that checks out, the job is done.
