I run a production application still on Django 2.2 and I need it lifted to the newest Long-Term Support release (currently 4.2). Several third-party libraries sit in the stack, so the work goes beyond a simple version bump: every dependency has to be audited, upgraded or swapped, and any deprecated APIs in the project code refactored. You will: • migrate the project code and settings so it starts cleanly on the latest Django LTS • update and pin every package in requirements/lock files, resolving conflicts caused by the many dependencies in use • run/manage migrations and verify data integrity • hand me concise upgrade notes that explain what changed, why, and how to deploy The application must run error-free on my staging server and behave exactly as it does today.
