I’m ready to launch a clean, modern WordPress site that captures everything a fast-moving technology startup needs. The build must be fully custom—no off-the-shelf themes—so the design and code reflect our brand from the first pixel to the last line of PHP. Purpose The site will serve as the central hub for our startup: explaining our product, publishing thought-leadership posts, and providing a clear path for visitors to sign up for early access or updates. Although a typical blog, e-commerce shop, or portfolio shares some overlap with our goals, the focus here is a cohesive startup presence rather than a single-purpose site. Scope of Work • Design a responsive WordPress theme from scratch (Figma or Sketch hand-off is fine if you prefer) • Build the theme using best-practice HTML5, CSS3 (or SCSS), and clean PHP templating • Configure WordPress so non-technical team members can add pages, posts, and media without touching code • Implement performance optimizations (caching, image compression, and lightweight plugins only where essential) • Ensure the site is secure, SEO-ready, and easy to extend as we grow Deliverable A production-ready WordPress installation packaged for deployment (theme files, child theme if used, plugin list, and database export), plus a brief hand-over guide so my team can manage content confidently. Tech notes: Flexbox / CSS Grid, Gutenberg compatibility, and Git version control are strongly preferred.
