I need a bespoke web platform that streamlines every step of our translation projects, from the moment a file is uploaded to final delivery. The heart of the build is a workflow engine that can automatically quote, take payment, assign tasks, track their status in real time, and trigger notifications (email or in-app) whenever an action is required or a deadline approaches. Accurate language recognition and word-count analysis must run the moment a document lands in the system so that project managers have instant metrics for quoting and scheduling. Files in scope are mainly Word and PDF, but the site should also accept image formats for OCR handling. Translators, project managers, and clients will each log in to their own dashboard with role-appropriate views: translators see their queued jobs, PMs oversee timelines and resource allocation, clients can check progress or download approved files. I will consider whatever tech stack you are most comfortable with—whether that’s Laravel, Django, Node/React, or another modern framework—provided the final site is secure, responsive, and easy for my in-house team to maintain. Deliverables: • A fully functional website hosted on our server, including user management, task assignment/tracking, automated notifications, and on-upload language detection with word-count, automatic quoting and the ability to take online payment. • Clean, well-commented source code in a private repository. • Deployment script or documentation so we can reproduce the environment. • Brief video or written walkthrough covering day-to-day use and admin tasks. Acceptance is complete when I can create a project, watch each role interact with it end-to-end, receive the expected notifications, and export a finished file without errors.
