Description: We have a live production WordPress website (Divi theme) hosted on DigitalOcean, and we need a staging environment set up. The goal is to have a proper development workflow where updates and changes can be built and tested on staging before being pushed to production. Requirements: - Set up a staging environment (preferably on the same DigitalOcean droplet or a separate one if recommended). - Ensure database and file sync between staging and production (push/pull as needed). - Configure a safe deployment process to push changes from staging → production seamlessly. - Maintain SSL, domain/subdomain, and other configurations correctly. - Provide a brief handover document or walkthrough on managing future deployments. Tech stack: - WordPress (Divi Theme) - DigitalOcean hosting - (Optional) Cloudflare for DNS Ideal Candidate: - Strong experience with WordPress migrations and staging setups. - Familiar with DigitalOcean droplets and server configuration. - Comfortable working with Git-based or plugin-based deployment workflows (like WP Staging, Duplicator Pro, or similar). Deliverable: A fully functional staging environment (e.g., staging.ourdomain.com) with the ability to safely test and push updates to production.
