Your job is to import every record, place each field under the correct column header, and keep the formatting consistent so the data is ready for analysis the moment you hand it back. What you’ll work with • Multiple source CSVs—some columns overlap, others appear only in a subset of files. • Mixed-type content: dates, IDs, product names, free-form notes, quantities, prices, percentages. What I expect in the deliverable • A single Excel or Google Sheet that merges all rows from the source files. • Unified headers with clear, human-readable names. • Correct data types assigned (numbers as numbers, dates parsed, text intact). • No duplicate rows; blank or mismatched fields highlighted for my quick review. • All original CSVs left untouched in case I need to trace anything back. If you already script in Excel VBA, Python (pandas), or Google Apps Script, say so—automation is fine as long as the final sheet is clean and accurate.
