I am about 80 % of the way through building a set of Google Sheets / Excel workbooks that calculate prices for my made-to-order products. The core structure is in place, yet several areas still need clear, reliable logic before the files can go live with the sales team. The worksheets cover everything we manufacture in-house: Curtains & Blinds, Sofas and Beds in multiple sizes, Headboards, Ottomans, Cushions and a full Reupholstery section. Some tabs are almost done; others still have to be designed from scratch so that every custom dimension, fabric choice and finishing option flows into an accurate, instantly updated cost. What’s already there: material rate tables, a few dimension-driven formulas, dropdowns for fabric categories and an admin sheet holding global margins. What’s missing and where I need your help: • Finalise the existing sheets. • Work on the remaining services sheets • Stress-test every formula, add data validation, protect key cells and give the entire file a clean, consistent layout. Acceptance criteria – Each product category returns a correct final cost when a user enters dimensions and selects options. – No #REF! or #VALUE! errors anywhere. – Input cells are clearly distinguished from calculated cells for fast quoting on the shop floor.
