I’m repurposing an existing commercial building into a vibrant retail space and need a designer who can translate my concept into a clear, build-ready package. Scope • Create a detailed layout that turns the current floor plate into a shopper-friendly environment with dedicated display areas, storage rooms, and cashier counters. • Incorporate an outdoor/indoor farmers-market style section plus a small café, deli, meat department, and cold-refrigeration displays. • Provide scaled plans, reflected ceiling and basic MEP coordination notes so contractors know exactly where utilities, lighting, and refrigeration lines will run. • Suggest finishes, fixtures, and signage concepts that reinforce an open-market feel while meeting local code requirements for food handling and accessibility. Deliverables 1. Dimensioned floor plan with furniture, equipment, and traffic flow arrows. 2. Reflected ceiling & lighting plan with fixture schedule. 3. Color concept board (PDF) showing materials, paint, and signage style. 4. Brief specification sheet for café, deli, and refrigeration equipment. 5. Two rounds of revisions after initial draft. I’ll supply existing as-built drawings and photos once we start. Please share examples of similar adaptive-reuse or retail projects you’ve completed and note which software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.) you’ll use for the drawings. Looking to kick off right away and wrap up the finalized package within three weeks.
