AshPay needs a mobile-first MVP that lets users manage money as smoothly as sending a text. The initial release should include: • Balance holding with real-time updates • Instant peer-to-peer payments between AshPay users • A clear, filterable transaction history for every debit and credit Users must be able to connect their bank accounts for funding and cash-out. Authentication has to support three parallel options—Fingerprint / Face ID, two-factor codes, and a traditional password flow—so the app selects the strongest method available on the device. AshPay is a digital wallet and payout hub, built to feel simple for users but structured in a way that banks, processors, and regulators are comfortable with. Our long-term goal is to be the trusted “front door” for everyday people and small businesses to send, receive, and track money—while our licensed partners handle the regulated money movement behind the scenes. Scope for this phase is a functional prototype with: • Clean, responsive UI that feels native on modern iOS and Android devices • Secure back-end API handling wallet ledger logic, KYC-ready user profiles, and webhook-style event logging • Bank-linking integration (Plaid or a comparable provider) wired to sandbox credentials so we can demo end-to-end funding and withdrawals • Basic admin panel or CLI scripts to view user balances and manually adjust them during testing Code should be well-documented, stored in a private Git repository, and delivered with a short README covering environment setup, build commands, and deployment steps. Once the prototype is stable, we’ll move on to UX polish and regulatory compliance; for now, focus on getting a reliable, testable core wallet in place.
