I have a finished model in Blender that I now need in STEP format for downstream CAD work. During the conversion I need you to keep the original dimensions exactly as they are and, as far as the STEP standard allows, carry over the existing textures so the visual appearance remains consistent with the Blender file. Only minor touch-ups are acceptable—nothing that would noticeably alter the design intent—so please feel free to clean up topology or tweak surface continuity if that makes the export cleaner. Deliverables • A dimensionally accurate .step file • Any brief notes on the small adjustments you made during the process If you have experience moving assets from Blender to engineering-grade formats, this should be straightforward. Let me know your typical workflow and an estimated turnaround time.
