I’m looking for a seasoned mobile team to build a full-scale social media application for Android. The project covers everything from refining the concept through to a polished Play Store release. Scope • Product discovery & feature mapping so we agree on the core social experience (feeds, profiles, follow system, real-time chat, push notifications, in-app media upload). • UI/UX design: high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes that capture a modern, intuitive look and feel. • Native Android development in Kotlin (Java only where unavoidable) following clean architecture, MVVM, and Jetpack best practices. • Secure backend: REST/GraphQL API, scalable database, user authentication (OAuth or custom JWT), media storage, analytics hooks. Cloud-native solutions such as Firebase or AWS are acceptable if they meet performance targets. • Admin/dashboard portal for moderation, content management, and basic analytics. • QA & testing pipeline, including unit, integration, and device farms, with CI/CD to streamline builds and releases. • Play Store deployment guidance plus two post-launch sprints for bug fixes and refinements. Must-haves – Smooth onboarding and social graph creation. – Lightning-fast feed loading and media playback. – GDPR-ready data handling and encryption at rest/in transit. – Documentation: technical (API, architecture) and user-facing (quick-start guide).
