I’m looking to get a lean Android app built for our in-house team that covers the essentials of inventory and production management. The first release only needs to hit the following checkpoints: • Stock tracking – add, edit, and view current quantities in real time. • Barcode scanning – scan existing product codes with the device camera to pull up or update item records. • Low-stock alerts – trigger a simple notification or in-app flag when any SKU drops below a preset threshold. • Production Job Card Issuance - We have an excel setup for issuance of job card for production which needs to be embedded into the app and the stock function to be connected to the same. This is for internal use, so a clean, functional interface matters more than extensive visual polish. I’m happy for you to choose the tech stack (Kotlin, Java, or a lightweight cross-platform tool that compiles natively to Android), as long as the code is well-structured and easy for our team to maintain later. Deliverables: 1. Installable APK for testing. 2. Source code with clear README for build/setup. 3. Brief hand-off document outlining any libraries or APIs used. Given our modest budget, please keep the scope to this core MVP—no multi-location syncing or advanced analytics yet. If the rollout goes smoothly, we can plan a follow-up phase.
