I’m developing a set of custom aluminium parts and need a design engineer who can turn my concept sketches into fabrication-ready CAD data. The scope is purely Design and CAD modeling; I’ll handle machining and welding later once the files are final. You’ll translate rough ideas into precise, manufacturable geometry, keeping typical aluminium constraints in mind—bending radii, minimum wall thickness, and CNC-friendly tolerances. I usually work in SolidWorks, but STEP or IGES from Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar is fine as long as the models remain fully parametric. Deliverables • Detailed 3D models of each part • 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications • An assembly file confirming fit, clearance, and fastener selection Send examples of aluminium prototypes you’ve designed and note your preferred CAD platform so we can get started right away.
