I want to ship an Android application that sits on top of WhatsApp, watches every incoming notification through NotificationListenerService, and fires back an intelligent, GPT-powered reply—no user tap required—whenever the sender is on a contact list I can toggle on or off. Accuracy of the generated answers matters most to me, so the core of the job is wiring the OpenAI GPT API in a way that lets the model automatically analyse the full conversation history stored on the device, extract my own past wording style, and keep improving its replies over time. I do not need any manual curation of the learning data; the whole pipeline should run in the background, periodically refreshing its local fine-tuning set so the response quality steadily climbs. Key workflow • Intercept WhatsApp notifications, parse sender, message text, and thread context. • Feed that context plus my conversation history into GPT, receive a reply, and post it back through the quick-reply action. • Respect confidence thresholds, time windows, and daily limits (I’ll define the defaults; the UI should expose sliders or pickers so I can adjust them later). • Provide a Material 3 interface where I can: – Toggle individual contacts for auto-reply and view a small “learning progress” meter for each. – Inspect and optionally delete any stored message snippets used for learning.
