I have a full set of detailed architectural plans in PDF for a ≈380 m² single-family home. I need those drawings converted into a clean 3D model—nothing fancy, just a basic massing model without textures—so I can spin it around, look at room sizes, window placement and the general form of the building. Format is important: I must be able to open the file in a viewer that doesn’t require a paid licence. If you normally work in SketchUp, an .skp I can open with the free desktop viewer is perfect; if you prefer Revit, please export a compatible format such as .dae or .fbx that I can inspect in a free viewer. Along with the model, I also need sun-path information. Show how sunlight hits the exterior, windows and major rooms at four key dates (e.g., equinoxes and solstices) with morning, mid day and late afternoon. Static images are fine, but an orbit animation or scene tabs inside the model would be a plus as long as I can see the shadows clearly. Deliverables • Basic 3D model of the house, accurately scaled to the PDFs • Four sunlight studies (images or scenes) for the specified dates • A short note on how to open and navigate the model in the chosen free viewer No photorealism or detailed texturing is required— accuracy of geometry matter more.
