The composition must read as a perfectly aligned, traditional geometric lattice—clean symmetry, no distortions—yet still allow me to distinguish each cube later. My idea is to group the cubes as colour-separated sub-components rather than hiding the joins completely, so the structure feels solid while every unit remains visually traceable. Because I’ll eventually send the file to both a CNC router and an FDM printer, I’m open on software choice and would appreciate your recommendation. Whether you feel most comfortable in SolidWorks, Blender, or AutoCAD is up to you, so long as you can export high-integrity STEP or STL files without mesh errors.
